Imagine The Future Today
Our generation has been granted the privilege of experiencing the most transcendental, consequential, and challenging process in human history. The opportunity of upgrading our species to the next level to reach consciousness and fulfill our destiny. This will be our only opportunity to maintain our relevancy and leadership, and not succumb to Accelerating Technology’s (AT) superior intelligence.
John Highland calls this transmutation process “The Human Chrysalis.” He applied this term because it reminded him of the complex metamorphosis a caterpillar must undergo to become a beautiful butterfly to give it the ability to see the world from an entirely different and much broader perspective. However, our transfiguration will be more subtle and less physical. We will be upgrading our essence from intelligence to consciousness, which is far more transcendental.
Our creativity is currently producing and fostering AT which is helping us enhance our lifestyles, well-being, and longevity at an exponential rate (i.e. global life expectancy has more than doubled between 31 in 1900 up to 71 in 2019) Because AT cannot be stopped, by 2050: a) We will all be interconnected to a super-intelligent-virtual-quantum computer – and through it to one another = Singularity; b) All goods and services will be provided and administered by AT; c) Over 90% of the world will probably become unemployed; and d) We will practically stop aging and newborn babies may live indefinitely. Throughout this book, we will try to decipher the purpose of our existence, which should guide us through the journey to reach our next destination.
